Jacob Baur
Paul Hinderer
"Next came Rev. Jacob Baur to served this territory from 1887-1892. Although repeated attempts were made to erect a church at Beaver Falls, MN, plans were finally made to erect Zion Church in Morton, MN. On Feb 18, 1889, the congregation organized in Morton, and plans for a church building, 26'x40', were completed. This church was razed in 1939 to give place to our current house of worship."

Paul Hinderer
- Paul Hinderer was also serving South Ridge, Nodine, and Brownsville. He soon realized that it was impossible to serve Brownsville in those horse-and=buggy days, if Nodine was to receive proper attention. He therefore resigned from Brownsville, which could be served from Town Union, and continued with the two Ridge congregations until 1890 when he left the Goodhue area.<ref>Clara Hinderer Baur written history</ref>
