Myrtle graduated from the Abbott Hospital School of Nursing, located in Minneapolis, MN in 1945. There was a big push to recruit nurses during the years of World War II. The one guys is poking and the other guy does have his arms crossed. Have you ever used a magnifying glass on a computer monitor... tough on the eyes.

I think this picture was taken from when his Navy ship got damaged during WWII and they had to wait on an island until rescued. Do you remember hearing anything about that, Karen?
