Grandma Clara Hinderer, age 74, Kathryn Baur, age 10, and baby Claire Baur. The 1962 picture was taken in living room of Mountlake Terrace, WA parsonage. In the background you can see the desk lamp which had belonged to Alfred Baur. The lamp shade is not the original lamp shade. Mom told me that early in her marriage she accidently broke the original. Mom was able to find another simulare green one. Mom said "to her credit, Grandma never said anything about it.""

The lamp is set on top of a radio/record player which Dad made out of an old pump organ cabinet. I don't know the history of the picture hanging over the player.

The edge of the frame of Jesus Praying in Gethsemane can be seen on the left side of the picture. This was painted by a friend of Alfred Baur, I assume sometime in the late 1910s or 1920s.

I believe the coarse blanket on the couch was from Grandma's days of teaching on the Apache Mission in AZ. It is worth noting that Grandma and Claire shared the same birthday, Sept. 16th, separated by 74 years.
