Paul Hinderer was also serving South Ridge, Nodine, and Brownsville. He soon realized that it was impossible to serve Brownsville in those horse-and=buggy days, if Nodine was to receive proper attention.. He therefore resigned from Brownsville, which could be served from Town Union, and continued with the two Ridge congregations until 1890 when he left the Goodhue area.
