Baur, Michael James

Jim and Terri Baur, N. 7041 Long Lake Road, Brillion, WI are sad to announce the death of their beloved son Michael James Baur, age 20, who died Tuesday, March 15, 2005.

His father, mother Terri, and three sisters:Ruth, Bethany, and Rebecca will all miss him.

Michael was born August 20, 1984 in Edmonds, WA, son of James and Terri Baur. He was a graduate of Manitowoc Lutheran High School and a student at the University of Wisconsin, Marathon County.

Michael was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Brillion. He was a scholar, and artist, a writer, and a sone and brother.

He will be sadly missed by his parents; his three sisters: Ruth Baur of Grove City, OH; Bethany Baur of Brillion, WI and her fiance Tom Barthel of DePere; and Becky Baur of Brillion; his grandparents Rev. and Mrs. Ralph Baur of New Ulm, MN; and Mr. and Mrs. Duane Amos of Corunna, MI.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 19, 2005 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 235 W. Water St. Brillion,with Rev. David Rockhoff officiating. Friends may call at the church from 12 noon on Saturday until the time of service.

Memorials may be given to Trinity Lutheran Church in Brillion which will be used for the exterior cross of the new church building. The Wieting Funeral Home of Brillion is assisting the family with arrangements.

Over the course of our married lives we "have had many things in (our) lives and lost them all; whatever we have placed in God's hands we still possess."

We placed Mike into God's care and it is now God who is providing for Mike's special need in ways that we never could. We thank God every day for the gift of peace and life that He has bestowed on Mike in God's perfect heaven.

Mike was a loved child of God. When Mike needed God most, God called him home to be with Him forever.
