Memories

Kathryn Baur - Goats: Yes you are correct Jim We got them from across the mountains. They were advertised in the paper as being 50 cents each. Dad figured a cheap way to feed his family once they were raised. Too bad they were all claimed as pets before we left the farm. He did have a soft spot after all and never took them to market.

Mom you did not overfeed the goats. They got into the oats and we found them bloated in the am before school. We had to walk and walk them around the house to get the gas down. I think Nanny died or was it Stripe? The other one Bouncer with the lame leg could not get to the oats so he was ok. Mom since when did you think you fed the goats???? Did you clean the pen too? :-) After I left home I think Billy was sold right?
