Roland and Lydia Scheele at Norbert's grave. The inscription, written in German, translates: “Spread out both you wings, o Jesus, my joy and Cover your hatchling. When Satan wants to devour me, then let your angels sing: This child shall be unharmed.” <ref>Tranlation by Johann Kargl: Breit aus die Flügel beide, O Jesu, meine Freude Und nimm dein Küchlein ein. Will Satan mich verschliengen, So laß die Englein singen: Dies Kind soll unverletzet sein. (The German text sounds better, of course, because it rhymes.) </ref>
