Short Biography

Not a whole lot is known about her. We don’t know for sure where she was born, but we do know she is buried in Wurttemberg, Germany. We also know she was born in 1840. She would live long long enough to see her “baby”, Jacob Baur, leave for America in 1885. Anna died in 1898.

We know that she was 25 years old when she gave birth to my Great-grandpa Jacob Baur in 1865. The young widow married David Sauer, her second husband, following a two year period of mourning.
