Bonanza

Last night I settled down for a relaxed evening of watching reruns of one of my favorite TV shows, Bonanza. It takes place in Nevada during the 1860s.

I must be reading to much MN Indian War history. Last night the Indians went on the war path. The were burning cabins and shooting fleeing settlers.

I physically cringed. As "dorky" as the show is, the reality of the situation sure hit close to home. Wow! Unreal.
