Notes
From Rene: Hi Jim,
- I only have time for a quick note. The Aunt Julia that Fred is referring to in the letter to Clara (your grandmother), is their mother Klara’s sister Julie who was marred to a Zellar. That is the AUNT Julie that they are talking about. Here’s what I learned this morning based on the bible page photo you had with the family births of the Schneider family in Germany.
- Julie Schneider – born - June 18th, 1862 in Owen, Württemberg, Germany / Christened June 24th, 1862 /married January 15th, 1898 in Manhattan, New York / she died September 13th, 1954 in New York / buried at Greenwood Union Cemetery Rye, Westchester County, New York, USA in New York.
- Julie’s husband was John George Zellar – born May 2nd, 1873 in Germany / died December 19th, 1919. / buried in New York.
